Should You Watch It?
Watch it. This is the invasion’s opening move, and it is mean on purpose. Skip it and the Hinata fight plus Shion’s last stand have no mechanics. Action starts, Rimuru is still not home. Sequential, brutal setup. If you liked Tempest’s power fantasy, this hour takes the batteries out.

On Clayman’s order, Myulan ignores Youm and Grucius — both of them already in love with her, both of them telling her not to — and activates Anti-Magic Area. At the same time, Reyheim of the Church side activates Prison Field. Double barrier. Monster skills sputter. The city that named itself on magic is suddenly a human-rules arena.
Rimuru is not there. That is the design. You do not cage a slime mayor if he is in the cage. You cage his people and make him watch the recording later. The prelude is a professional hit on a nation’s kit.
