Glenda versus a crowd of Souei
Souei fights Glenda. She “kills” him. It is a doppelganger. Then there are more, plus the real one, and she is done. After the Council meal with Benimaru, Hinata, and Shuna, he brings the prisoner. Rimuru tags her as an otherworlder. Hinata and Shuna remind him they can just revive her if he is squeamish about leverage. Tempest interrogation ethics are a little cursed. Effective, though.
Raphael reads a curse
Rimuru takes over. Raphael sees the same influence that hit the Council. Maribel is the mastermind. Hinata connects her and grandfather to the Seven Luminaries job. Glenda is cursed to serve the Rossos or die. Rimuru removes it. She flips, because of course she does — this show recruits like a sports team. She says Granville survived, outlines the scheme, and flags Maribel’s hook in Yuuki. The title is literal. The mastermind has a granddaughter’s face.
Maribel will not pivot
She learns the plan failed. Johann considers allying with Rimuru. She refuses; she still wants the monster king dead. That split is the Elder bench cracking. Greed’s user would rather burn the board than share it. Season 4 is not going to talk her down in a meeting. The ruins are the next venue.
