Story Recap
The paper was a leash
The Council is grabbing at the train, weapons, fortune, dungeon — Rimuru hears slavery. Raphael feels a mental push on the room. Rimuru strips it and wonders who, without blaming Yuuki. Then Elric arrives with Reiner, Team Green Fury, Vent, and Gaiye, summoned by Elder Gaban against Lester’s wishes. The rest of the Council did not vote for a kidnapping. Hinata is displeased. Elric wanted to take and control Rimuru anyway. He pulls an Orb of Domination — the same toy Clayman used as a Milim prop — and it does nothing useful to a True Demon Lord. He still tries to force it on.
The room picks a side
The Council turns on Elric. Rimuru exposes Gaban’s plan. Elric’s crew will not stand down. Hinata takes Reiner. Gaiye goes at Rimuru; Shuna takes that fight instead, breaks the holy sword, and drops him with magic. Raphael catches Glenda lining up Elric as a corpse to pin on Rimuru. Rimuru stops the shot. Reiner and Gaiye get arrested. The meeting became a raid, and Tempest still did not murder the prince.
Dad enters politics
Elric clocks that Rimuru is not the villain and that Gaban is, but he has no proof. King Aegil of Engrassia walks in, allies with Rimuru, disciplines his son, and has Gaban arrested. Johann, in the room, starts calculating losses. The Council accepts Tempest on more peaceful terms. Offstage, Souei meets Glenda after the failed sniper run. The trap produced the opposite headline: the slime saved the idiot prince.
Green Fury unmasked as a tool
Last week’s dungeon scouts are this week’s kidnapping extras. Gaiye is the recurring heel in another uniform. Vent’s party was never just a speedrun. The labyrinth and the Council were always the same war on two maps. Rimuru treating the orb like junk is the power-scale joke. Shuna handling Gaiye is the “we brought the right people” joke.

Tempest is in. The terms are less poisonous because the conspiracy had to go loud. Maribel’s script called for a monster murdering a prince. The footage is a Demon Lord blocking an assassin. Season 4’s first cour just failed the way Muese failed: in public, with witnesses.
