Should You Watch It?
Watch this. It is the cour’s human-villain climax. If you skip, Yuuki’s position and Maribel’s fate get spoiled by accident in Episode 83 anyway. Action-heavy, twist-heavy. I will not pretend a recap knows every hit’s exact HP; stick to the aired shape: her control plan folds, Yuuki is not the victim he looked like, the reactor is not there for her.
Beginner-friendly? No as a start point. Watch from Season 1 Episode 1. This installment assumes you already know Tempest’s core cast — Rimuru at minimum.

Story Recap
The ambush that was expected
Shion takes Yuuki. Ranga and Gobta take the nameless knight who hates Rimuru. Gaiye jumps Rimuru and dies fast. Maribel drops a Holy Field and calls backup. It fails because Rimuru had people on that backup already. She tries Greed as a cage. It does not stick. She still will not quit, and she gets overpowered. The “master” cannot master the one person the whole plot was for. That is the joke and the relief.
Anti-skill, then a knife
Yuuki beats Shion and turns to Rimuru with Anti-skill — magic and skills bouncing. Rimuru still puts him down. Kagali and the researchers beg for Yuuki’s life. He says he is free of Maribel. The knight was a Battlesage avenging a “dead” Glenda; he stands down when he hears she lives. Rimuru sends Yuuki and Kagali after Maribel, the others to the dark elves, himself toward Milim. Maribel finds no reactor. Yuuki and Kagali catch her and say they tricked her. He was pretending. He built Anti-skill. He stabs her, takes Greed as she dies, and talks world domination like a man who just ate a unique skill. That is the aired betrayal. Do not decorate it with fake last words.
Who was the master
Maribel thought she was the author. Yuuki was running a second script. Granville’s granddaughter dies in a ruin she emptied. The title lands on him more than her, and the show is allowed to be ugly about it. Rimuru choosing not to execute Yuuki on the spot is the same mercy that keeps getting this series in trouble. Kagali asking for that mercy is the ruins partner still in his corner — for now.
A dragon still in progress
The episode does not finish Milim’s fight. Chaos Dragon is still the B-plot storm. Greed’s user changing hands does not pause a calamity. That split is why the next title exists. This hour is the human knife. Next hour is the pet.

Twisty without needing extra fanfic. The Holy Field callback to Church kit is funny in a ruin. Gaiye’s death is the heel running out of extra lives. Yuuki’s pretend-puppet is the cour’s nastiest character swing. Pacing is fight, twist, stab, cut to dragon.
World-building is Anti-skill as a unique answer to Rimuru’s kit, Greed as transferable, Holy Fields as portable, and reactors as a rumor that can be wrong. Do not claim a blow-by-blow that the broadcast did not freeze for you. The political fact is enough: Maribel is out. Yuuki is up. Milim is not done.

Rimuru is the prepared victim who refuses to be a victim. Maribel is Greed’s believer until the knife. Yuuki is the double agent of his own story. Kagali is the one who asks for a life. Shion loses a round and the plot still needs her later. Gobta and Ranga handle a Battlesage with a Glenda-shaped grudge. Gaiye finally stays down. Milim is offscreen thunder. Researchers are the chorus that keeps Yuuki breathing. Glenda is the offscreen fact that ends a revenge knight’s quest.

Greed can fail on Rimuru. Anti-skill can still lose a fight. Unique skills can be stolen at death. Holy Fields work in ruins, not only churches. A reactor can be a lie you tell a greedy child.
